This is a completely free government-sponsored program — no gimmicks, no hidden costs.

Each qualified homeowner will receive the following equipment at no charge:

  • 12 solar panels (either 460W × 12 or 405W × 12)
  • 1 hybrid inverter (5KW) – grid-tied compatible
  • 1 energy storage battery (10KWH)

This is a standardized package provided by the government for all eligible households. Once installed, the system can help homeowners save around $200 per month on electricity bills.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Homeownership

Applicant must be the homeowner (proof of ownership required)

2. Income

Household income at or below 80% of local AMI (e.g., $85,280 for a 4-person household in La Puente)

3. No Prior Solar Installation

The home must not currently have a solar system installed

4. Utility Provider

Must be a customer of PG&E or SCE

4. Project Execution

Upon approval, proceed with system design, permitting, installation, inspection, and PTO activation (about 3 months)

5. Payment

The company covers all costs upfront and is reimbursed by the government after project completion

6. If Pre-Approval Denied

Contract is automatically canceled with no cost or obligation to the customer
